Aye Ready Club

Members of the Aye Ready Club, Glasgow very generously donated £100 to Family Support Trust, following their pre Christmas AGM.  Approx 40 retired colleagues attended the meeting and demonstrated their ongoing goodwill and support for our own SFR Charity. more »

SFR Pipe Band

A warm thanks to members of SFR ‘s award winning Pipe Band who braved the worst of the winter elements, to raise £390 for our Charity, by playing at the Craigmarloch Tesco Charity event, prior to Christmas. more »

North Lanarkshire Area Open Day

A big thank you to SFR colleagues in North Lanarkshire who raised a superb £625.86 at Motherwell Community Fire Station’s Open Day, for Family Support Trust, whilst also raising  funds for other local Charities, including St Andrew’s  Hospice more »

Argyll & Bute Area donation

Trustees were delighted to accept a generous donation of £241 from our SFR colleagues in the Argyll and Bute Area and would like to acknowledge the efforts of all who contributed. more »

Cambuslang Open Day

Sincere  thanks to Station Commander Jeff Spencer and his colleagues at Cambuslang Fire Station for all of their hard work in raising a terrific £400 for our Charity. Jeff’s crew organised a Fire Station Open day for their local community. The event featured a variety of stalls and a very successful prize draw, which attracted donations and kind support from local businesses. more »

RDS Conference

This year’s annual RDS Seminar took place at Hamilton HQ on Saturday 12th February and is a crucial part of SFR’s training calendar. Delegates joined the Chief Officer and members of the Corporate Management Team, on Saturday evening, for a dinner at the Hilton Bellshill, where a fantastic £395 was raised for FST. Thanks to all who contributed and all who support the Charity throughout the year. more »

The Partick Burns Club Annual Supper 2011

A very special thanks to The Partick Burn’s Club for choosing, for the second year running, to support FST.  Club members and guests very generously donated £755.50, to assist the work of our Charity, the proceeds of the Annual Supper’s fundraising raffle. more »
